5-9 NOVEMBER 2018

Initial plans for Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (5-9 November 2018) have been announced, providing a unique opportunity for engineers, employers, universities and schools to showcase how engineers are on a mission to make the world a better place.

The week will demonstrate how young people can be an engineer on a mission and turn the things they care about most into engineering careers.

This year the campaign forms part of the Year of Engineering and engineers featured will focus on topics young people care about including saving the environment, animal welfare, staying safe, health and entertainment.

Employers, professional bodies, universities, schools and individual engineers are invited to get involved to help inspire the next generation of engineers by registering for a toolkit of ideas which includes being part of our engineers on a mission campaign.

Employers, universities, schools, individuals and partners can get involved by visiting to register and download the toolkit. Engineers can also take part in a survey on the impact of their work, run in partnership with The Engineer, via:

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is delivered by EngineeringUK a not-for-profit organisation, which works with the engineering community – employers and professional institutions - to promote the vital role of engineers and engineering and to inspire the next generation.
